About The Role

The Role
 
Our Senior Project Managers work closely with their line manager, the Client Director, to oversee and manage a portfolio of client projects while driving business growth and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship management skills who can balance client needs, financial oversight, and portfolio performance. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Client & Account Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client updates, project delivery, issue resolution, and data tracking.
  • Attend and lead client meetings, ensuring projects stay on track and identifying account growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of client account plans, aligning with business objectives.
Project and Portfolio Oversight
  • Manage and implement the scope of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with deadlines, budgets, and desired outcomes.
  • Oversee project management processes, ensuring smooth contracting-to-cash and revenue tracking.
  • Resource internal consultants to meet project and client requirements efficiently.
  • Manage consultant and partner/supplier engagement to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Monitor portfolio financials, including budget tracking, invoicing, sales & delivery allocation, and project profitability.
  • Track and monitor consultant utilisation against targets, ensuring workload is effectively distributed and aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure financial oversight across all projects, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.

Quality, Risk & Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement quality management plans to uphold high standards across all projects.
  • Conduct risk planning, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting to safeguard project success.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the development of project and programme management capabilities.

You build strong relationships, work collaboratively with colleagues, and maintain a client-focused approach at all times. You are commercially savvy, balancing client needs with business priorities while ensuring smooth operations. You are self-motivatedhighly organised, and comfortable working remotely, with occasional travel to client sites and our London or Birmingham offices (travel expenses reimbursed).
