Client Project Administrator

The role

Gateley Smithers Purslow are looking for an ambitious and talent Client Project Administrator to join the team in Glaston.   

The Client Project Administrator is responsible for dealing with the Company’s initial Instructions and Enquiries whilst providing a high-quality customer service. The job holder is expected to support the Executive Client Project Administrator. 

The successful individual will assist with AML matters such as source of funds and effective risk assessments. 

You will be responsible for the following: 

• To deal with initial enquiries and instructions in an efficient and precise manner. 
• To make use of Companies House and corporate databases. 
• To review risk assessments on IntApp. 
• To conduct and review sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks, as well as source of wealth and source of funds documents and providing matter managers with further advice. 
• Clerical duties in support of the department.  
• Publishing to and updating the Business Management System.  
• Providing high-quality customer service in an efficient and friendly manner.  
• Request further information from the business and communicating decisions in a clear and concise manner. 
• At all times to comply with the requirements of the Company’s administrative, personnel procedures and Health & Safety regulation. 

The team

Gateley Smithers Purslow is part of Gateley Built Environment, a multidisciplinary consultancy made up of four established specialist businesses: Gateley Hamer, Gateley RJA, Gateley Smithers Purslow and Gateley Vinden.

Together, we bring more than 600 property specialists together with the property and construction lawyers in Gateley Legal. This gives our clients access to connected expertise across the full property lifecycle, from strategy, funding and development through to occupation, long-term asset management and exit.

The person

The candidate will demonstrate a genuine desire to be part of a rapidly growing team, enthusiasm and the drive to continue learning and be actively involved in business development activities. This role will ideally suit a Senior Associate who has previous experience working in a corporate lending and acquisition finance banking team but we would also consider someone with other transactional banking and finance experience who would like to make a transition.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Experience in working in a customer service role and deal with a wide range of customers in varying circumstances. 
• Experience of working in an office environment, with a working knowledge of business support systems and procedures. 
• Experience in working with individuals across departments. 
• Enthusiastic, committed, and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment. 
• Computer literate. 
• Good time management skills, solid organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise a varied workload. 
• Ability to work on own initiative but understand the importance of working well within the team. 
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written. 
• Ability to demonstrate initiative.
