The role
As an Associate / Senior Associate in our busy corporate team, you will be based at our Leeds office working closely with our Corporate Partner, David Armitage, and alongside other Corporate team members based in Leeds and other offices. their clients who instruct us.
Clients come back to us, and other advisers continue to recommend us, because we have the requisite technical knowledge, capacity and know-how to proactively drive the transaction process and to facilitate deal completions that consistently meet or exceed our clients' expectations.
The successful candidate will also gain exposure across our National Corporate Unit and be given the opportunity to assist the wider national team on a variety of M&A, capital markets, cross border transactions & investments, investment acquisitions, corporate structuring projects and private equity (to name a few) corporate transactions.
This role offers hybrid mix of office and home working.

With a team of 70 corporate lawyers nationally, we advise clients on all types of corporate activity across the UK.

The person
Our successful candidate will have 3+ years PQE and be a very personable, bright and confident individual. Having spent the early years of their career learning their craft, the successful candidate will be capable of producing an excellent standard of work whilst supervising others in the team. Our ideal candidate will also enjoy marketing and business development activities. They will be a robust individual and will have the strength of character to interact effectively with colleagues and clients at every level.
