About The Role

The role

We’re looking for a motivated and curious CAD Technician to join our team. It’s an exciting opportunity to begin or build your career in CAD, working alongside experienced colleagues, learning on the job and contributing to real client projects from day one.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Engineering, Surveying and Architecture teams to support technical projects and prepare clear, accurate structural CAD drawings and details. You’ll also help our site teams with measured surveys, learning how digital survey data is captured and how it’s translated into drawings that support our wider project work.

We’ll give you the training and support you need to develop your skills — whether you already have some relevant knowledge and experience, or you’re just starting out and would benefit from joining us as an apprentice with structured learning alongside your role.

For the nature of the role candidates must have a valid Driving Licence and access to their own vehicle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of drawings, providing technical input and assistance to colleagues across all stages of schemes in order to resolve problems and provide efficient solutions.
  • Attending national site visits to assist in preparing existing measured surveys and reality capture.
  • Engage in relevant CPD events; to expand and update specialist knowledge relating to the profession.
  • To act with honesty and integrity in all aspects.
  • At all times to comply with the requirements of the Company’s administrative, personnel procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
