About The Role

The Role
The Talent Development Administrator will support the Talent Development team in the planning, organization, and follow-up of all learning and development activities within the business. The Talent Development Administrator will work alongside an existing Talent Development Administrator, sharing responsibilities for tasks. The preference would be for this hybrid role to be based at our Birmingham office. The Gateley Group accommodates agile working and the opportunity to include a work from home pattern.
 
The Team
The talent development team at Gateley supports and drives the performance of our people by the delivery of training interventions that develop essential personal skills, management, and leadership capabilities. The team manages the delivery of our risk and compliance training and diversity and inclusion training programmes. The team is also responsible for our new starter induction and onboarding programme. The talent development team is central to the running of events and training under our wellbeing and career aspiration initiatives. We also work with individuals, coaching specific development requirements. 
 
The Person
Responsibilities & duties will include:
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Talent Development department, including scheduling training sessions, managing logistics, and maintaining training records. Shared administrative responsibility for onboarding of new starters.
  • Course Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external trainers to ensure smooth delivery of training programs.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Management: Manage the firm’s LMS, including course uploads, user management, and reporting.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Collect and analyse feedback from training participants to improve future training programs.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the Talent Development budget, including tracking expenditures and processing invoices.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all levels of staff regarding training opportunities and updates.

In particular we look for the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a learning and development context within professional services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally, familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Grade 5 (C) in Maths, Grade 6 (B) in English Language GCSE.
